Use WarrantyWarden in Claude and ChatGPT
Last Updated: October 2026
The WarrantyWarden connector lets Claude and ChatGPT answer questions about the products you track in WarrantyWarden: what you own, which warranties are ending, and whether a product is still covered. It only reads your data. It can't add, change or delete anything in your account.
What you need
- A WarrantyWarden account with some products added. Any plan works, including Free.
- Claude (any plan) or ChatGPT.
Connect in Claude
- Open Customize > Connectors in Claude.
- Find WarrantyWarden in the directory and select Connect. If it isn't listed for you yet,
add a custom connector with the address
https://mcp.warrantywarden.com/mcp. - Review the connection page, which lists what the connector can read, and select Allow.
- Sign in to your WarrantyWarden account. You're returned to Claude, connected.
- In a chat, turn the connector on from + > Connectors and ask a question.
Connect in ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open Settings > Apps (or Plugins) and find WarrantyWarden. To add it by
address, use
https://mcp.warrantywarden.com/mcp. - Select Allow on the connection page, then sign in with your WarrantyWarden account.
- Start a new chat and ask a question about your products.
What you can ask
- "Give me a summary of my WarrantyWarden inventory."
- "Which of my warranties end in the next 90 days?"
- "Is my dishwasher still under warranty?"
- "Show me the details of my Samsung TV, with its manual."
- "Do I have any warranty reminders coming up?"
- "Which categories of products do I track?"
- "Show my upcoming trips and bookings in WarrantyWarden."
- "Which WarrantyWarden plan am I on, and what do the other plans cost?"
What the connector can read
- Inventory summary: how many products you track, and the ones that need attention.
- Your products: search by name, brand or model, list them all, or list them by category, with brand, model and serial number.
- Product details: brand, model, category, warranty information and links to the manual, support page and receipt where available.
- Warranty status: whether a product is covered, its start and end dates and days left.
- Warranties ending soon and upcoming warranty reminders.
- Digital archive: your products together with your travel and stay bookings (provider, booking reference, dates and status).
- Support requests: the support emails you sent to brands from WarrantyWarden: brand email, subject, issue type, status and dates.
- Agent tasks: tasks WarrantyWarden's assistant is working on for you, with their status and the contact they're aimed at.
- Credit history: support-call credits you bought or used, if any.
- Your plan: plan name, status and product limit.
- Plans and prices: WarrantyWarden's public plans and prices. This one works without signing in.
Every tool is read-only. Adding products, editing warranties and contacting brands stay in the WarrantyWarden app.
Your data
The connector only sees your own account. What a tool returns is sent to the AI app you're using, and that app's privacy settings apply from then on. The connector is hosted by Transica, which keeps your sign-in encrypted and doesn't store what the tools return. Details are in section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
Disconnect
Remove WarrantyWarden from Customize > Connectors in Claude, or from your connected apps in ChatGPT. To have the connection's sign-in revoked on our side too, email [email protected].
Troubleshooting
- Sign-in doesn't finish: make sure you sign in with the same account you use in the WarrantyWarden app, then connect again.
- "You have no products": the connector only reads products already in your account. Add them in the WarrantyWarden app first.
- The AI app can't see new answers or tools: start a new chat, or disconnect and connect again.
